This is pretty neat. I've been hearing a lot of crap towards the iPad from other CS students here at school and I was afraid the iPad wouldn't take off like the iPhone did. Apparently I have nothing to worry about!
Come to think of it, all the CS majors here are really into linux. The two philosophies of CS majors here is that if it's not linux, it automatically sucks; and if it looks sleek and amazing, it must not run amazing. I don't know where this false dichotomy of looks vs. capabilities comes from. I mean, can't a computer look good
and run good at the same time? That's how I feel about Macs. It's the best of both worlds.
